Many business people from Bath Place have been staunch supporters of
the campaign for Taunton town centre to become a Business
Improvement District (BID).
They’ve been putting up BID posters in their windows, telling
neighbouring shops about it, and giving their full support to
meetings held to discuss it.
Now, along with businesses throughout Taunton town centre, they’re
receiving invitations to the
Brewhouse presentation event on
|
May 2, to hear details of what the BID Action Plan will mean
for the town centre.
“We’re very supportive of the BID in principle. We’ve already found
that by working together to promote Bath Place we can do a lot more
than by going it alone, and this will involve the whole town centre,
” said one member of the local business community.
“It will be good to find out at the presentation exactly what the
BID can do for us in practice.”
