Successful BIDs (Business Improvement Districts) are giving a huge
boost to cities and towns across England and Wales.
Now Taunton is the only town in the South West to go for BID status,
like Bristol and Plymouth, as part of a national government
programme.
During July 2007 town centre businesses will vote on becoming a BID.
So what does it mean?
Together, it’s a case of… 1% investment =
100% improvement
