The
South Circuit is one of the shorter routes in the
town centre; is the busiest and has the greatest
number of shops in one area. It has a wide and
diverse range of shops and restaurants along its
partly pedestrianised route and connects to most of
the long-stay car parks. There is much to see and do

West
Circuit
The West Circuit covers one of the
most historic quarters of Taunton’s town centre. It
is also host to a wide and diverse range of shops
and eating places along its route. The three main
routes, Corporation St, Castle Green, and Bath Place
offer a very attractive thoroughfare of fashion
shops, specialist stores, pubs, bistros and wine
bars. In the summer this part of the town is
bedecked with hanging baskets and floral displays
that add to the relaxing atmosphere of this
enchanting area of Taunton. Closer to the Market
House at the heart of this circuit you will find the
larger department stores and well known national
chain stores.
