Who Cares Wins Competition 

Launch of the second Who Cares Wins customer service contest.

After the success of last year's competition, the County Gazette has teamed up with Taunton Town Centre Company together with sponsors Orchard shopping centre and Level Up business coaching to find and reward the business offering the best customer service in Taunton.

It's the latest in the successful Shop Taunton campaign and last year's competition saw shoppers win prizes worth hundreds of pounds, thousands of public votes cast and reward given to the best businesses in town.

We know outlets in Taunton offer excellent customer service and now we're giving businesses the chance to prove it by entering Who Cares Wins.

Prizes for the winner include:

• Framed certificate for display in store

• Valuable publicity

• A day's business coaching from Level Up

Prizes for the second and third placed entrants are certificates and half-day business coaching sessions.

This year the judges will include 2011 Who Cares Wins winners Mecca Bingo.

General manager Davina Warden said: "We are very proud this year to be asked to be judges for the Who Cares Wins scheme. It's an in-depth look at how businesses approach their customers and a brilliant opportunity to showcase customer service. In a climate where everyone is doing whatever they can, improving your customer service is an easy win. We look forward to seeing lots of good entries."

Town centre manager Graham Love added: "This competition gives businesses a chance to shine and we know they will rise to the challenge."

Here's how it works

• Enter now! Complete a simple entry form including details about your business and the ways you look after your customers/clients. Entry forms can be requested by emailing info@tauntontowncentre.co.uk or by clicking here or you can use this link to the online entry form          
• All entrants will be invited to a launch event on May 14 in Taunton to collect a competition pack and get full details of the contest.
• From May 17, customers of the entrants will then have three weeks to give their feedback on customer service at participating stores - anyone completing a feedback form will be entered in a free draw to win some goodies donated by local businesses.
• Judges will use the customer feedback and entry information to create a shortlist of finalists who will be profiled in the County Gazette. They will also receive a visit from a mystery shopper to help determine the overall winner, which will be decided by the judging panel.
