A Golf Course In
The Centre of
Taunton Town Centre,

Housed adjacent to Vivary Park is Vivary
Golf Club where all golfers, amateur or not, are invited
to challenge the well designed and maintained 75 year
old course. It is an 18 hole, 4620 yards, par 63 golf
course on open parkland with far reaching views. Open to
the public every day, both regular players and visitors
are welcome to play or simply refuel in the clubs fully
licensed bar and restaurant. Sunday lunches are also
worth a visit to the club.
 But
don't just bring your friends bring the family because
the putting green is welcome to all ages and cost only
£0.75. During the summer ice-cream is available in
Vivary park and if you bring a ball Vivary Park also
offers plenty of space for a kick-around. Sunday lunches
at the club house are also worth thinking about.
A variety of season tickets are available
with added benefits for regular players. For all
standards of golfer there is tuition available by
agreement and equipment can be hired (Clubs £3.50,
Trolley £1.50). Junior players are especially welcome to
a round at reduced rates, or to purchase a junior season
ticket.
 The
club opens at 8:00 am and closes at dusk every day
except Christmas Day. Bookings are taken from 8am every
day , either by telephone or in person, up to 8 days in
advance or you can book online at
www.toneleisure.com (If you don't have a season
ticket you may book a starting time 8 days in advance
providing the start time is after 9am Monday-Friday and
after 9.28am at the weekends).

and these are also situated in Vivary Park and
cost as little as £3.60 an hour.
